General description This timing tool kit is designed to lock all 4 camshafts in their timed positions on the Porsche 911 GT2 and 911 Turbo fitted with the 4 cam 3.6L engines. It allows for the replacement of both camchains while maintaining engine timing and includes 2 camchain pre-tensioners. Technical specifications Applications: Porsche 911 GT2 and Turbo (2001 - 2010) Engine code applications: M97/70S, M97/70, M96/70SL, M96/70E Equivalent to OEM: 9661, 9661/1, 9401 Usage Use with appropriate DTi (Dial Gauge indicator) and stand to accurately set the camshaft positions - see Laser Part No. 7687. Designed to be used in accordance with OEM instructions.
