Following his dismissal from the Parachute Regiment and subsequent prison sentance Ken Lukowiak wrote one of the most honest and brutal accounts of what it was like to fight in the Falkland's War. As a result a number of papers asked him to cover a number of conflicts from Rwanda to Bosnia. WARRIOR TO WORRIER is based on those experiences. It also describes his traumatic visit to Argentina to meet with the mothers of dead Argentian conscripts from the conflict. This is unswervingly honest, deeply emotional, bluntly reasoned war reporting. It is writing of the highest order.
