The knight has a very nice patina. I believe it to be bronze as for the size of it, it feels too heavy to be bronze. Also the colour and patina lends itself to bronze. It has no makers mark but does have a registered design mark suggesting quality. There is an empty rectangular recess which I believe may have held something like a small thermometer maybe. It is an attractive piece for a medieval collector.
