While visiting New York, he harshly criticizes the staff of the Cosmopolis Hotel, turning Daniel Brewster, the hotel's owner, against him.He meets, falls in love with, and weds Lucille, Brewster's daughter, on a subsequent trip to Miami.Brewster does not feel happy.
