Scott Fitzgerald, All the Sad Young Men, was released by Scribners in February 1926.Fitzgerald created the tales during a period of disappointment.He was having money problems, he thought his wife Zelda was having an affair, she had a slew of health ailments, and his play The Vegetable had been a disaster.At the time the book was released, Ring and Ellis Lardner, who lived nearby, received a dedication.There are nine stories in the collection.
