GENERAL DESCRIPTION The DEWALT DCG418 XR FlexVolt Grinder features a high power density motor with more copper and higher grade magnets for increased power. It has an upgraded electronic module and components, a mesh guard for durability, and reduced motor dust ingress. When used with a FlexVolt DCB546 or DCB547 battery, it delivers up to 30% more power than the DCG414. Its compact gear case allows easy access to tight spaces, and it includes a rubber overmould for better grip and comfort. Safety features include an E-brake and E-clutch to protect the user in case of disc bind up, along with a one-touch guard system for easy adjustments.
