Living Room Inspiration 2021

It is a good idea to furnish your living room in a functional way by considering what the space will be used for. Is it simply to sit and relax or will you be using the room to watch television, work, read or eating or do you need storage space.

One of the most important items of furniture in your living room will be a sofa, it’s the centre piece of the room and will be used the most often.

Here’s a few factors to consider before making your purchase:

Best for a family  - When it comes to a big, cushioned leather sofa you can’t really go wrong. Sofas in this style tend to me more supportive than their more contemporary competitors and if you have children, leather is easy to wipe clean for spills.

Space-efficient - A corner or U-shaped sofa follows the perimeter of rooms and maximises the available space, allowing for an open, social area in the centre too.

Extra Large Sofa - If you are a particularly tall or large person, there are obvious benefits to wider, longer sofa seats. It’s important to always feel comfortable, especially in a place where you will likely be spending a lot of time.

Traditional 2 seater sofa’s and armchairs – come in all shapes and sizes so you can usually find one to fit your space.

Once the basics are complete, you can add atmosphere with other pieces of furniture and decoration. A rug, television cabinet, side tables, plants, colourful wall art and cushions on the sofa and accessories in display cabinets will add the finishing touch and will finish off your room.
